REAL application

Any good getting started with Nido? step by step in 10 minutes with Nido?

IMHO, better samples for minimize learning curve are real applications with full source code and good patterns.

Full source code sample real application?

Nido framework is best architect-ed for small to medium applications development and currently, we are using it to develop a fairly large "ERP" system that has nearly 2000 tables. So as per our experience, the framework is stable enough.

but open source

Dear kiquenet,

I think we have answered your query here

http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/698486/Introduction-to-Nido-FREE-Framework-NET-Csharp?msg=4916776#xx4916776xx

Please revert if you want further clarifications.

Then again we really appreciate your initiative...

Thanks,

Great! thanks.

lots of your thoughts into it, good job ! thanks for sharing.

Suggestions IMHO, about it, any step-by-step guide, or Getting Started - Quick Start that can be completed in 15-20 minutes?
I get you a good step-by-step guide sample like http://berniecook.wordpress.com/2013/01/13/getting-started-with-git-and-visual-studio-step-by-step-guide/
I wanted to quickly cover off several assumptions before we get started: install (requisites, tools required), configure, an running quickly. Target will be an "go and ready" sample. Maybe better an real application sample. IMHO

It's a pity that not expose any other source/real world projects.. I think is better way to good learn about good practices and patterns.

Greetings.

https://autonlayered.codeplex.com/ not continues development, it's a pity.

Kiquenet,

If you have Nuget Package Manager configured, installing Nido is as simple as issuing the command..

PM>Install-package NidoFramework

This will install all dependency libraries and add required reference from the .NET library stack. And then the code project Article here or the documentation found in codeplex will give you direction to code.. If you start reading one of these two document that will give you the kind of start you are looking for..

If you think that is not what you are looking for, then we will do it in the future .. however there is another video coming.. we are preparing it now.. I will post a link here as and when it is ready..
  • Note: I don't think anyone would share their real application code with you, unless it is an open source project. On the same node, Nido license allow it to be used in commercial products. So sharing source code of commercial application is very unlikely to happen.
Thanks,
Nirosh.
